Good location

I booked this place and within the first hour I realized, that I was wrong about the dates by 1 day, my mistake. I immediately contacted booking.com over the phone, they were very forthcoming, but couldn’t make the adjustment through their system. Hence they suggested to directly deal with the host, who confirmed the availability of the alteration. Over many hours it became a back and forth and to cut the story short: no flexibility nor goodwill on the hosts side, sadly human interaction have become impossible in our time, whatever computers say we can or can’t do is the law. There wasn’t even a leap of faith necessary as it was fully paid. So, I staid at the place 1 night for the price of 2: apartment itself had a heavy smell of humidity and it rained through the roof.

The location was excellent. Great buses right outside to take you anywhere in the city. Metro 10 mins walk away. Great supermarket 2 mins away. The apartment was spacious and well laid out. There were 4 of us and it felt spacious. Kitchen equipment was good. Coffee machine was a great bonus. Overall the apartment met our needs perfectly. There was an excellent Nepalese restaurant round the corner called Gurkha which I'd highly recommend. Also excellent burger bar (Bob's) which sold vegan burgers. This was great for us as we arrived quite late and needed food and drink. Again 5 minutes around the corner was the Amalia rodrigues house which is a museum but has a fado concert twice a week in the garden. It was great

Single beds were quite narrow but comfortable. But maybe this is the Portuguese style of single bed. Very minor point but we were only given 3 coffee pods on arrival and there were 4 of us and we arrived very late when shops had closed. Description says toiletries provided but there was 1 miniature bottle of shampoo and body wash so don't rely on this.

Nice location. All you need in a house, well equipped.

There are mold and humidity all over the place, to add the cherry to the cake there is no A/C. The bathroom has a drainage problem, when you bathe the water starting to come from underneath the shower pan. I communicate to the gentleman who gave us the welcoming and he told me that they will take care after we have left….

Good location with a supermarket close by and lots of cafes. Host met us after our late flight arrived and was very welcoming. Very nice clean apartment it suited our family holiday well.

The apartment was very clean, the bed so comfortable and excellent shower.

The owner met us in the apartment to give us the keys. He was very friendly, told us a lot of useful information, and we even had a welcoming bottle of wine in the apartment. Also some coffee tablets for a coffee machine - that's the small thing I value a lot in all the stays because it is so, so good when you don't need to buy the box when you arrive for 3-4 days. Same with all the stuff for cooking like olive oil, salt, etc - we had all of it in the apartment. Thanks, guys, it was so nice of you! The apartment is situated close to a nice garden, and if you like to walk you can also get to the Eduard VII park by foot, take a Bolt there, or use a metro (Rato station). You have a metro in close proximity - means you have the oceanarium, the riverside, the central parts of the city, and literally everything easily accessible. And a small Continente is literally around the corner. We had a wonderful three days there and good memories. Highly recommended.

The Location is excellent, the apartment is cozy and well equipped. The host is excellent, very helpful, gentile and responsive

There's only one bathroom and the shower is not very good, but it is OK.

Liked everything about the apartment. Clean and modern. Had everything we needed for our stay. Supermarket was round the corner. Bus stop was a few steps away.

Nothing. Although there was one cockroach.

We didn't like the food which we purchased with a partner as an extra. It wasn't a Portuguese fish pie as we know it. More like a roulade wrapped in spinach. Both the vegetables and the roulade were salty. The food was extremely expensive and very poor value for money. There was a terrible smell from drains in the bathroom at times and we found a cockroach one night. We expect that this is normal for an old property in the Lisbon heat.
