Cool Tailor Made 2 Bedroom Apartment

The appartment was clean and had everything we needed.

We didn't like the food which we purchased with a partner as an extra. It wasn't a Portuguese fish pie as we know it. More like a roulade wrapped in spinach. Both the vegetables and the roulade were salty. The food was extremely expensive and very poor value for money. There was a terrible smell from drains in the bathroom at times and we found a cockroach one night. We expect that this is normal for an old property in the Lisbon heat.

Miquel is a kind and helpful professional. The location was tucked away, so noise level was manageable. There was no view from any windows, but we didn't rent this for the view. There were strong fans in each bedroom if air needed circulation (there is cross ventilation from the larger bedroom to the living room and eating area), but circulation for air was lower in other two bedrooms, so a bit warmer (no windows in one bedroom and window on the roof in the other). This rental was in the shade of the city, so the heat will not affect it as much. Plenty of plates, utensils, and a good size table for all to eat together. Stove and frig were good size as well. Towels and bedding were included in cost. Good size shower for EU standards. Strong WIFI. Bakery, small food and drink shop, and small grocery are 2-minute walks for essentials. I highly recommend that you take this enterprising management company on filling your refrigerator with Portuguese foods as this saved us time for several meals (ask Miguel about this), you will need to pay cash upon arrival for this option, but it is very reasonable. It takes a bit of time to walk to the train station, clothes shops, and other attractions, but in the city, one must be willing to walk. Parking is impossible and driving in general is terrible, so I recommend you hire a car (TrustPilot was very good and reasonable price) to get to and from the airport.

I had no issues because I hired a car for the airport transportation, and I also moved through the city by food or train. If a renter does not do that then there will be some disappointment. If a renter is not prepared to walk and used public transportation, then this there will be some disappointment as well. So, rent this location, knowing these important tips to get the most out of this location. For climate control, in the summer it will get up to 40 C/105 F. If you are accustomed to this type of weather, then this wouldn't be an issue. We traveled in May to not have this issue.

spacious very well equipped and furnished apartment. very clean .Comfortable beds . very good size to a family of 5 .,There is everything you need in the kitchen + many fans and heaters, very good wifi . Great location : one minute walk to the bus stop and 10 minutes to the tram/ metro + very close Continente supermarket. Gil is the best host ever , very nice and welcoming , easy to contact through Whatsapp. I really recommend this apartment . If to return to Lisbon will book this again.
