Baymont by Wyndham Arlington At Six Flags Dr

Upon arrival the hotel was under renovation which we were unaware of, but okay with. However, once we got to our room the room was not clean, had yellow skittles on the floor, no ice bucket, no working phone, no working refrigerator, 2 lamps with missing light bulbs and one towel for my husband and I. This was addressed with Peter, Sam and management and I was told it would be taken care of first thing the next morning when house keeping cleaned the room. It wasn’t. The room wasn’t cleaned at all; skittles still on the floor, bed not made, no towels and no workin appliances. Furthermore, this was the weekend of the Dallas Cowboys playoff game so hotel prices were elevated. Upon departure I asked them to at least compensate me for one night. To date nothing has been done to make this right. I will be reporting them to the BBB if not taken care of.

Location was good and employees were very nice.

To whom it may concern I am voicing my disappointment for my stay at the Arlington baymount. They are using the “under remodeling” as a cover up for hotel neglect. Upon walking in the lobby first you see are black plastic bags covering up the area being “remodeled”. Once I made it to the third floor I was greeted with a pungent humid/ wet dog odor, accompanied by more black plastic bags on the walls and roof. There is drywall tape peeling and hanging all the way down the hallway to my room. Same odor in our room, our furniture was old and damaged like the wood tv stand and the chair was stained/soiled. The restroom was the worst, dirty yellow stained tub, old shower curtains with holes, toilet so wobbly no one felt comfortable using so we had to use the one in the main lobby, toilet cover was broke and repaired with caulking. Not to mention restroom wall was all damaged and no ventilator. Out in the room the lamps didn’t even have light bulbs and the fan was dirty with dust.

Everything is falling apart at this hotel. A/C was not at all working .. All furniture was very very old & rusty. Shower rods were shaky & wall poster coming out. This was the worst experience I had at any hotel. Will never visit this hotel in future.

Old. No breakfast. Furniture broken. Holes in walls. One washcloth and hand towel for two people.

The bed was clean and comfortable. The towels were clean The room was terrible. The AC unit was very loud. The TV was governed to a low volume. The TV remote did no work. The blow dryer fell off of the wall. The shower curtain rail had been put up with metal shims to hold it up The tub was cracked. The lamp at the bed did not work. One of the electrical outlets did not work. The furniture was worn and chipped. I would not think of using the microwave or refrigerator! The hallway carpet was missing in front of 6 rooms. The hall windows were messy. The lobby had plastic up that look permanent. The morning breakfast had run out of coffee. It had waffle or boiled egg. I would never ever recommend this place.
