Baymont by Wyndham Glenview

The lady barely could speak English and said she couldnt use another credit card expect for the one that held the room. After the third time she said well I guess I can. The room was stuffy and we smelled sewer gas from the sink in the room. Had to out a rag over the drain so we could sleep. We changed hotels the next morning.

Elevator was out, our room was on the 3rd floor, property was somewhat rundown

It’s time to renew some things, not enough light

My wife and I booked a park/sleep/fly reservation for the Baymont Hotel in Glenview, IL. We parked our car there on July 18, went on vacation, and then were picked up late on August 1 for an overnight. This hotel is in bad shape. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was average, but those were the highlights. The negatives to this hotel are many. First, it is clearly rundown. Doors stick and don't open easily. Our headboard had gashes and pieces of vinyl missing. The lamps next to the headboard had shades with holes and cracks in them. The furniture was visibly damaged. The bathroom ceiling drywall was poorly replaced and not sealed. Rusty screws showed through and the drywall was clearly broken in spots. There is no way this room should have been rented out. I'm very disappointed and will never stay at this hotel again.

After they moved me to a room away from expressway, much better. Breakfast adequate. Front desk accommodating. Overall a decent place for a week or less. I would have rated it higher but it’s just not that nice a hotel, a little older with less amenities. But for my stay just to visit Chicago solo, it was fine.

Very close to all the major stores

Everything is great, especially the breakfast, their always friendly and it's always clean, and the beds are comfortable.

The property needs to be more cleaned and cared.

Really nice for the area looks like they were doing renovations in some area

No laundry bag, no working elevator
