Baymont by Wyndham Downtown Detroit

Check in was easy but the whole place smelled either of weed or something trying to cover up the smell of weed. Room had wet/dirty carpet to the point that I wore socks the whole time and left them there because they started off as white and were black when I left.

Our stay at the hotel was OK we were comfortable sleeping. It was averagely clean. The toilet seat was kind of broken. You could tell some things have not been wiped down in the bathroom and they didn’t really have enough towels to accommodate us.

You get what you pay for. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel left a lot to be desired. In our king room the bed sagged to the middle, only had two towels, plugs were coming out of the wall, curtains had no rods to clise and were misding shears. Almost felt a like a buy and sell place. The room did have a fridge and coffee pot, was nice sized and quiet. Breakfast area was clean and had a small variety but was good. Liked having a shuttle and the internet was good as well.

A/C was dirty and barely worked. Towels and rags were dirty. Tub was filthy. All the vents and windows filled with bugs and dust The hallways and room were very hot. The check in staff was great. The did service lady was amazingly nice and thoughtful Shuttle bus driver Rich was great

Not handicapped accessible Stairs in all areas Old ramp was tiled with stairs in lobby Cannot access easily if handicapped

Bed bugs The breakfast lady is phenomenal The front desk staff sleeps in their cars on shift Did i mention my whole arm was attacked by bed bugs They refused to give me anything back after a 2 night stay Bugs bugs bugs Beware

Check in quick and easy, overnight stay to sleep and get back on road. No complaints
