Cadell House Apt - Royal Mile

I loved the apartment and all of the amenities were great and easy to use. The only issue that we had was that the neighbours got a little loud at night. Otherwise, the apartment was lovely and allowed us a restful repose after exploring the city.

It's in a great location, on the same road as all the shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants you could ever want. The heating works quickly if it gets cold and the beds comfortable. It's great to be able to come back to after a long day of sightseeing where we could all sit together in the lounge and chill.

To get to the apartment you need to come through an alleyway which is where the bins are kept and it does smell terrible. The keys weren't marked and the external door was like trying to get out of an escape room, stiff and impossible to open in one go, not ideal for women coming back in the dark especially because the outside light didn't work. Towels are very small, bring your own if you're used to big towels. If you need a cosmetic mirror or hairdryer bring your own because there isn't one.

No breakfast. Location was good.

No mirrors in rental except for bathroom. No frying pan. Noisy upstairs neighbours. Floors need a wash.

Location was great, owners really helpful and property was very clean.

Property its self was like student accommodation, very basic. Looked better in photos
