The property was really nice

We loved the quiet, yet Central location Step into the close and it's a peaceful sanctuary - just outside you are in the middle of quaint pubs , shops and transport all in the heart of the Old Town. The apartment is roomy, clean and all self catering conveniences.

The close entry is a bit tight with the rubbish bins - and parking is at least a 10 min walk. It can't be helped but for those driving an FYI.

more of a bed sit - random bits of cookware and furniture, one single wine glass so the kitchen was unusable for a family, floors were filthy they made your feet black walking around bare foot, no mirrors and the walls were bear. from what we could see none of the comments from previous reviews have been acted on.

Cooker, fridge/freezer, and dish washer high standard and working. It was useful to have a cafetiere.

Place dishevelled on arrival, cleaners did not arrive until after 4.30pm. No chairs in bedrooms. Late night noise from flat above. Litter in pend and stair well.

Its location on the royal mile. Looks great, very historic looking.

No parking on site. Industrial Bins at the gate to the alley entrance vet smelly.

Great location through a close off Canongate in an historical building. Quiet but close to everything. Tesco close by for supplies. Short walk to major attractions. Adjacent to a lovely garden. Rooms were large and comfortable.

Was a nice shower if you can fit through the door. My husband is a big person and could not fit through the shower screen opening so had to take sponge baths during our 2 night stay. If you’re carrying a bit of weight you may have a problem. Property is upstairs so be prepared to haul luggage.

N/A -There was no breakfast included. The premises were ideally situated to the city centre . The location suited our needs and requirements for three days. Even though we didn't use any of it (our choice to spoil ourselves and eat out ) the kitchen and apartment were fully equipped should we have needed it.

Nit picking - some of the paintwork could have done with some TLC

It felt rather basic The sheets were not ironed There were no pictures on the walls No blinds/curtains on some of the windows

Great location nice and quiet. Very well kept. Comfy beds. Had everything you could need. Communication with the owners was great they replied very quickly to any queries.

The door to the apartment was a bit fiddly to get in but that's just a very minor issue.
