Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang Hotel

Room was small^ but for us was not so terrible. We used to travel with friends for NY holidays& We needed only place for our baggage and shower with hot water - everything we need was in this hotel. Around it are a nice places with food)

While the hotel itself seems a little dated upon entering, the location more than makes up for it. Outside my window I look upon the ocean. The room itself is very large with a large bed. The room has a safe and a refrigerator, as well as a flat screen tv. We were in a breakfast area separated off from where everyone else ate. We were told that this was because of the noise level. This breakfast was not my favorite of the trip. There just didn't seem to be that many choices. They did have a chef making eggs, though, so I did not walk away hungry. We were checked in easily and quickly. We stayed for two nights, and the hotel was more than adequate. There is a beautiful pool area that I can see from my window, but I did not try it.

Nice hotel, location fantastic and great seaview. From hotel, you can go anywhere in Nha Trang if you want, it is so easy to walk to seaside or Shopping center. Staffs are so well-trained & friendly. Mrs. Kim was so hospitality & easy-going. I think you should choose this hotel when you arrive in Nha Trang. Once again, thank you so much.

We stayed at many hotels in Nha Trang but we choose to come back to Yasaka Saigon NhaTrang Hotel for the second time. We like the location, the service of this hotel and had great times during our staying, specially activities for Lunar Calendar New Year Celebration. As I understand it, the Yasaka Nha Trang was one of the first hotels built along the beachfront – and it shows in its dated design, décor, and facilities. It’s not a bad hotel; it’s just not a great one. It is conveniently located directly across the street from the ocean, and it’s a nice stroll down the pathway through the ocean-side park. Nha Trang has become a bit overrun with tourists, so expect restaurants and streets to be quite crowded. Unless you’re specifically looking for a beach holiday, I would recommend skipping Nha Trang on your itinerary. Lobby and Check-In The lobby is quite large, but very dated. The desk clerks seemed efficient, but not overly friendly. There were a couple of shops with over-priced “collectible items” and an un-staffed travel desk. Building The rather nondescript hotel is built right across the street from the park and ocean. Be sure to go to the pedestrian crosswalk before trying to cross the street to the ocean since traffic is a bit crazy. Apparently, some motor-scooter drivers do not think that traffic lights apply to them, but make yourself visible (arm held out, for example, and walk at a steady pace so that the scooter drivers just move around you. There were large meeting rooms on the two floors above the ground level, but only one was in use (and that was one that our tour group used to have a discussion of Vietnam policies, growth, history, etc.). Rooms I’m not sure which era the furniture in the sleeping rooms is from, but it appears as though it’s from the 60s – and not in a retro-chic way. However, the room was large and faced the ocean. The beds were reasonably comfortable. There were few electrical outlets, especially bedside, so it’s best to bring a small multi-plug, travel extension cord. Elevators were creaky and slow and would not work if more than about six people were in a particular elevator car. The best thing about the room was that there were two desks, allowing each guest to having his or her own working space. The bathroom was adequate, with plenty of hot water in the shower. Several amenities, such as toothbrushes and paste, combs, etc. were provided. Dining Options A breakfast buffet is included in the price of the night’s stay in the hotel, but I would suggest going around the corner to Bread Talk for freshly made pastries and breads. The food at the hotel buffet was, in a word, awful. Overall The Yasaka Nha Trang Hotel may have been a leader in establishing Nha Trang as a go-to beach for tourists, but there are dozens of other hotels now lining the oceanfront (á la Miami Beach), so you would have plenty of other choices for more up-to-date hotels.

It is a good location near the water, but the hotel itself is sub-par. Old, out dated, poor service, breakfast was not completely out on time both morning we were there. Also, the breakfast buffet was not up to standards. Both elevators weren't working at one point. Had to go down many flights of stairs.

The location is good. The view also nice but i stayed the 2 night and so terrible, my door clock had matter then i alway had to call receiptionist come to open it for me. they did not make good cleaning with bed cover, they changed new bed cover, but it not clean, dirty, i feel uncomfortable.

Location is good. Room is big; however, the room is very stink. Customer service is also very terrible. We booked a room for 3 people, including the breakfast buffet, garden buffet and all service fees. The garden buffet started at 6pm-9pm. However, when we came around 7, there was nothing left to eat. I asked the staffs working there to fill the food but they didn't bother with me. After that I went to talk to the manager but I am not sure if she is the manager, she cannot solve any problems, she also didn't know how to handle the situation and even no apologize. I will never come back here again. If you want the customer to come back again, you'd better train your employees and your staffs again.
