Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang Hotel

I've stayed in Yasaka four times over the past few years. Unfortunately as time goes by the quality has deteriorated to a two star hotel. You have lost me as a loyal customer. NOTE TO YASAKA MANAGEMENT: Use expenditures and profits to upgrade the hotel. What makes Europe and America the gold standard is paying attention to details. High end "looks" are only superficial. It is the small things that will ruin your reputation. As with any corporate strategy, it is the repeat customers that will sustain profits and future growth. These are some of the BASIC amenities that are simple to correct yet if neglected, customers will NOT return. Wifi too weak or does not work at all. (A simple 1,000,000dong ($50USD) wifi extender or ethernet cables will rectify the problem) Sporadic power loss in various rooms. Stopped up drain or showers. Eating breakfast indoor but waiting until guests are eating before turning on the air conditioning. Air conditioning not cool enough causing room to be damp and musty. (add more freon)

The hotel should not be rated a 4 stars as it is too old and worn down.

I must upgrade (pay $40.00 /day more the room with seaview because the standard is is too small and no window

Facilities: A little dated but clean ; Value: Great deal; Service: Respectful; Cleanliness: Pristine; The Russians have moved in and all tourist/restuarant information is in that language; communication a problem

Hotel is not the newest - but great location on the beach and rooms are large and clean. Breakfast buffet (western) was not great - better selection of vietnamese food. Make sure you go on snoring tour and to iResort mud bath. Louisiana Beach Club was good spot for evening meal. Shopping mall was right next door as are numerous bars and coffee shops.

Do NOT stay on the 1st or 2nd floors. Rooms are terrible, some have no windows, some have shared window sills with folks next door. Heard a man throwing up, sounded like he was in our room. Do not book on this sight resservation was completely messed up with mis interpretations.

Killed three mosquitoes in the room. No windows. Bathroom had water leaking in the floor. Broken light fixtures.
