Really wish that if a pool was advertised on the site and pictures that it would be open for summer. Sucks always showing up and the pool is never open.

After a long trip I was greeted by two uplifting employees with spectacular attitudes. Both Amillion and Aaron were very welcoming and accommodating. Employees like them is what makes Marriott a world class brand. I highly recommend this property for your stay and I hope you get to experience the level of service I received from Amillion and Aaron.

’m a Marriott Bonvoy member and former Marriott employee so I typically choose Courtyard properties for their reliability and service. Unfortunately, this particular stay at Courtyard Burlington fell short in several ways. We were not informed ahead of time that the water would be shut off during our stay. I called the hotel the day before and again the morning of check-in and no one mentioned it. The water was off by 8 a.m. and though I was told it would return in 15 minutes we didn’t have access to running water for several hours and had to keep calling for updates with little follow-up. When the water was finally restored it looked clear but left brown residue on our towels. I ran the water for two hours hoping it would clear but it remained tinged. Maintenance came up and confirmed it still wasn’t right. We were offered a room change and told it would be inspected before we moved. After waiting nearly two more hours I returned to the front desk and was met with confusion. They seemed unaware of our situation and had not yet checked a new room. When a room key was finally brought to us the agent stated she wasn't allowed to check the room which contradicted what we were told. I checked the room myself and was disappointed to find it appeared gently used. The beds had dirt specks, there was hair in the shower, and the toilet was stained. We were moved again. While the water was finally clear in the new room there were long hairs on the toilet and dirt in the shower. At that point, I cleaned the bathroom myself with bleach to feel comfortable. What was most disheartening was that we never received an apology. No one followed up the next morning and no service recovery effort was made. The one shining light during our stay was Jan the overnight front desk agent. She was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Her customer service stood out. This experience was not reflective of the Marriott standard I’ve come to expect. I hope this property improves its communication and room inspection process as the current lack of attention to detail and guest care was truly disappointing.
