Staypineapple, University Inn, University District Seattle

The hotel is great in all respects. Not overly fancy, but clean and very friendly. Too bad this and the other nearby hotels raise their rates so much during graduations season each summer.

Our stay was wonderful. Harper the check in person was very helpful with everything we needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the University of Washington area. Harper helped us contact an early morning taxi to the hospital.

The staff was wonderful and everything was clean and well stocked. Room was spacious except for the bathroom which was small but not uncomfortably so.

Surprise "amenities" fee per day at check in - I can't stand hotels who pull that trick to make their prices seem lower. The pillows were the worst I've had at a hotel in a while - just immediately went flat when I lay down. The room had no sound isolation. I was kept up at night by noises in the hall and at one point I sounded like someone was rattling my door trying to get in. Speaking of my door - I only had to enter my room three times but two of those times it took multiple key beeps and shoving at the door for it to open despite getting a green light.

great location and relatively quiet
