Hampton Inn Cleveland-Solon

Nicely updated for an older property

Easy parking, coffee and basic breakfast, close to Cuyahoga valley national park, quiet location. Friendly staff. I like the environmentally friendly bath dispensers. Could walk to a couple of restaurants.

Pool didn’t open til 9am.

Everything was great

Friendly staff, clean hotel, clean rooms, comfortable. Near some good food options. 25 mins from Cleveland Clinic which is why I stay here. Have stayed multiple times and it never disappoints. Highly recommended value priced hotel.

I've stayed here many, many times over the last two years while visiting family. I have also used Hampton as my first choice for my frequent travels. I had acceptable experiences when staying there. this last stay however completely turned me off to this hotel and frankly, all Hampton properties. At check-in, mid afternoon, myself and one other guest waited at the front desk over 20 minutes before anyone even appeared, despite asking for help from several housekeeping associates. When the desk clerk finally appeared, he seemed to be put off by our disturbing him. We were told that he was on an important phone call (we saw him on his cell phone outside). When I jokingly asked "More important than us?" He responded with "Waaayyy more important. Normally, I don't complain but after thinking about it that evening, I decided to call customer service. They told me someone would call me back within 24-48 hours. It was almost 9 days later that someone called! NOPE, never again. I have reservations with a competitor in October.

Very nice and close to the doctor we were seeing. Awesome breakfast too.

We came in town for wedding, and hotel was very accommodating with an early check in and putting up with all of us later in the night. They provided a shuttle that was clean and nice to the wedding venue and bus driver was also very nice. Free breakfast in the AM was probably one of the best I’ve had included in a stay.

Accessibility wasn’t exactly possible: long walks to and from elevators. Ice machine was broken.

There was loud noise during my final night that woke me up around 4am or 5am... other than that, my stay was great.

The lady at front desk was unreasonable about checking in 30 minutes even tho room was ready then took 30 minutes to check us in. Would not give us the wedding hoodie bags with wedding itinerary u til after we insisted it was for us. Then at 6:30 am woke up to the neighbor smoking tons of pot!
