SPOT X Hotel Tampa - Wesley Chapel by The Red Collection

Very nice place to stay!

The many days expierenced at the Spot X hotel was nothing less than excellent. The rooms are always very clean with everything you need, neatly laid out. Out of 3 or 4 hotels in the immediate area, this one is clearly the best one to be in for the money. I have seen other hotels in the area that charged more and are not nearly as appealing with no hot breakfast! Even affluent business people and travelers alike should have no problem picking this one. And the kind and accommodating staff just makes what's already very good even better. The manager Anna is the best one I have expierenced. And Xiomara, the breakfast host is great - very hospitable. Nyia , Chad, Melissa, Keivn, and others are a wonderful front desk staff. Also Carmen, Stacy, and other members of the cleaning staff do a great job of making the rooms look like no one was just in them. And bright white sheets and towels always smell fresh and clean. And the beds and pillows help give a good night's sleep with no aches and pains in the morning. Highly recommended!

HOTEL WAS IN A GOOD LOCATION

Great location

I stayed at this hotel many times when it was a Sleep Inn and enjoyed it. The hotel staff was very accommodating. I did not like the fact that I could not open my blinds to get some Florida sun. There was no curtain or anything to shield people from the outside looking in. I was on the first floor facing the parking lot and people were sitting outside of my window. Hardware from previous window treatment had not been removed. There were no lids that fit the coffee cups or regular sugar my entire stay. The bedside table was very very small. It's size was about 12x12. I had to clean the TV remote prior to using it because it had what looked like dried food on it. The clock on the bedside table had not been cleaned and look like kids at smeared food or something on it as well.

The actual room and hotel are great. What was not great was I was first given an unclean room (not cleaned from previous guest), then a room with no ac and the check-in clerk was so rude and had an attitude. Would not stay here again.

Big party in front of our room . Bunch of kids or teenagers having fun . I thought was for families. Front desk night person . Nice enough to change our room around 2am . Me my wife and kid with all our stuff going downstairs to try get some sleep.

Rooms were musty, sheets felt wet and sticky. Front desk was nice but the room keeper just walked into our room at 10am.

People in the upper level never going down to smoke. The whole hallway smells like marijuana. All the neighbors noise come clear to yours.
