I love the facilities, specially the facilities they have for kids. Full of entertainment options for them, which is really great and make parent´s life much easier. Lovely staff at kid´s club. Definitely one of the best options for families.

The hotel in general is very nice, but a bit old. Specially, you feel it in the bathrooms... some items rusted, damaged, old fashioned... I think with a bit of investment the hotel could be a 10. Food is average and it is quite repetitive. Too much Mexican style food, which does not cater so much for foreign guests.

The actual lobby was nice and spacious. The ocean view was nice. The turtles in the ponds were nice.

The food was awful. Our shower in our room was broken and sounded like it would explode. Exposed electrical in our room. Not great customer service I’m still waiting to hear from the after we checked out 2 days ago.

I had booked a room with 2 beds but when we arrived we were given a room with 1 king sized bed. However, the staff worked very hard to get this corrected and by the end of the day we were moved to a room with 2 beds. We liked everything about our stay at the Melia. We would like to go back next year and stay in the tower that faces the ocean.
