Meliá Puerto Vallarta

La atención del personal es excepcional , instalaciones muy bien y la habitación muy cómoda. Las actividades que se organizaron igual recomendables. Nos hicieron upgrade al hacer check in lo que hizo la experiencia aún mejor.

Solo como un punto a mejorar es la variedad de los alimentos en los buffet y la disponibilidad en la reservación de los restaurantes a la carta , ya que un día nos comentaron que no tenían espacio y vimos varias mesas vacías, desconozco si se deba a no saturar cocina, pero si requeríamos otro tipo de menú diferente a lo de buffet por lo que si deberían organizar mejor sus espacios.

The food in the pool area is more like fast food. Sometimes facilities can be dirty specially in pool areas. Location is far from Vallarta downtown, but uber can get your there

I am writing this review one year after our family stay at the Meliá, which included grandparents, siblings, and four children. Over the past several years, we have stayed at numerous all-inclusive resorts, many of which are rated higher than the Meliá (we are currently staying at Velas Vallarta). In hindsight, however, the Meliá stands out as our favorite. The resort offers an impressive variety of dining options, a large and beautifully presented buffet, a stunning pool area with ocean views, and very comfortable, well-appointed rooms. The staff were consistently excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. The beach was also beautiful and well maintained. The only minor drawbacks were that the quality of the drinks did not quite match that of some other resorts, and the beds were somewhat uncomfortable, though upgrades appeared to be underway during our visit. Overall wanted to write this review to anyone considering this hotel. We absolutely loved it and think it should be a strong contender when considering your next vacation.

Very friendly and kind staff.

According to the room, it’s low quality cleaning. The bedclothes were bad-smelling and the bathroom was dirty.

The property is beautiful. It was easy to find our way around the grounds. The employees were incredibly hospitable and genuine people. We went for our honeymoon, and enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea. Beachfront was exactly what we wanted! The room was clean & housekeeping did a wonderful job daily. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great! This was our first time at an all inclusive & we felt the value for food and drink was good. We thought the variety of food was also great, we preferred sitting down at the restaurants and ordering from menu but the buffet had lots of delicious options and different options every day. We had a perfect couples massage at the spa, and steam room session. We will 100% be back to visit as this is officially a special place in our hearts. When we left the resort we took affordable Ubers to explore other beaches and areas. Even the Ubers will drive right up to the main entrance though it is a gated drive!

The Melos described itself as all inclusive but the food while plentiful was terrible and the drinks (beer, soda, cocktails) were watered down. The facilities were fine but a little worn down and they were understaffed for the busy season. I’d consider another place to stay.

We stayed at Melia over the Christmas break and it was easily the worst all in closing we’ve stayed at in Mexico. The food options were terrible. We were guaranteed restaurant reservations but surprisingly everything was booked across 4 nights. And when we asked about the guaranteed reservation the hotel staff just shrugged. This hotel was packed but seemingly didn’t have the capacity to adequately serve its guests. The buffet dinner was the worst I’ve ever seen - greasy fried food, no fresh seafood, soggy food. The only redeeming quality about this hotel was the pool and even then it wasn’t kid friendly.

Enjoyed daily Yoga & the Yoga teacher Alejandra was excellent! She did great poses & put extra time to make it high quality. I liked kayaking was open much of the day. Mexican restaurant & waiters were great for breakfast (global & healthy). The seafood restaurant & buffet were just ok. Pool was too busy imo, facilities a bit older but decent, activities for kids. The cabanas were much better to enjoy the ocean.
