The location was convenient to where I needed to be.

My room was one of the dirtiest rooms I've ever stayed in at a Hampton Inn. The furniture was stained, the bathtub was grossly stained, even the extra blanket in the closet was stained. The carpet on the 2nd floor hallway looked like it needed replaced 10 years ago.

Staff was very friendly. Wish there was regular black tea offered. Rooms were very clean

I love Hampton Inns! This location is perfectly sufficient if you don't need the internet or want to watch netflix. Strengths: They are friendly. Breakfast is always decent. They are the more affordable Hampton in the area. Here's why....... (read opportunities) Opportunities: The facility is definitely outdated and run down in terms of just older and wear and tear (the tubs "sink in" when you stand to take a shower, my shower button to make the water come out of the tub spout instead of the shower didn't work, wall paper and tiles are outdated and need replacement. No internet (or I should say intermittent internet (and I've stayed here multiple occasions- this one will be my last, only because I need the internet for work and can't function with theirs) and old tvs with no access to streaming like most hotels now. Allow me to elaborate on the internet issue. If you need the internet, definitely stay somewhere else. The internet rarely works and kicks you off consistently, after less than 10 minutes of use (if and that is being generous). Most of the time, it doesn't connect at all. I have zero issues connecting to the internet in the surrounding Hamptons in Vierra and Palm Bay (and I highly recommend Palm Bay.) I got a text message asking me how my stay was. I explained I was having trouble again with the internet. They said they were working on improving that service and they hoped to serve me better in the future. That's almost the same message I got when I stayed here months back. I gave it another chance hoping it had been fixed. It was not. As for the TVs, the other Hampton's I've stayed at nearby have smart TVs which enable you to connect to netflix. This location doesn't.... probably because you need decent internet to be able to do so. They have older TVS with bulky remotes and you can only watch TV channels, and many are infomercials. To Sum A) If you're a family and your kids want to connect to netflix on the TV, it wont happen here. B) If you need the internet, it likely wont happen here either. C) If you need an affordable place to crash, with polite staff and a good breakfast, this is your place, as long as you don't mind the outdatedness. Did I mention you should look into staying just a few miles south at the Hampton Inn, in Palm Bay? You wont be disappointed there. Vierra is slightly outdated, but a way better choice than this Coastal Lane option.

Staff

Not much within walking distance. The traffic, congestion and road repairs make the highway challenging to guests not familiar with the area. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. I paid for a king non-smoking room however I received a room with 2 queen size beds and was told they don’t know why but it was given to away before I arrived. They were able to give me additional Hilton points for the inconvenience. I would have preferred the room I contracted for!
