Days Inn by Wyndham Dayton Huber Heights Northeast

The front desk was very friendly so I hate to leave a bad review, but the sheets were not clean, the floors looked like they hadn’t been swept or mopped in a long time. Same with the bathroom and shower. Behind lamps and furniture there were just piles of dirt. When you pull up outside it looks modern and clean, so going into the room and it being outdated and dirty wasn’t expected. There was also a lot of noise outside so I didn’t sleep at all. Just not a great stay unfortunately.

The only positive was its location—half way between our friends’ home in Wisconsin and our home in Virginia.

The shower curtain was nasty. We did not put it into the tub when we showered. Porcelain was broken off at the tub drain. There was no consideration for food allergies at the breakfast offerings. And no bottled water for sale even though we saw both desk clerks had some. Corporate needs to send someone to inspect but make it a surprise.

Horrible experience from checking in to checking out. I would recommend to avoid this motel at all cost. It all started with the checking in. Clerk was not friendly. Did not replied to "good evening" only said " what is reservation number?" . I had two rooms for my business partner and I as we were traveling through the area. The first room he gave me had a loud AC and only one dirty towel hanging in the bathroom so I went back and requested another room. He gave me the room that smelled like a weed. The AC was a bit quieter but still too loud. The bathroom was dirty. The toilet bowl had suspicious brown streaks and black scum build up. (See attached images), the floor was nasty and definitely dirty. There was black mold and mildew throughout the floor tile and there was soap scum inside the bath tub. At least this room had 3 towels hanging on the rack. Up on inspection I found a hair ball in my bed (see attached images) and a singular long dark hair on the pillow. I know for a fact they didn't change that pillow case. One of the light bulbs by the mirror had a seizure causing flickering so I had to turn those lights off . The AC got progressively louder through the night to the point I had to get up and turn it off so I could sleep. The shower worked fine but chrome had a calcium build up. The so called breakfast in the morning had individual Danish rolls and sliced bread. There was an orange juice dispenser. No coffee or tea. No waffles but it had some yogurts in the fridge. The morning clerk was a bit nicer than the night person. Overall we had a terrible experience and I would NOT recommend this motel to anyone. I would rate it as 1 out of 10 stars.

Very dirty and run down. Lots of repairs needed. Torn bedskirts.

This hotel was great. The price was reasonable. We were surprised by the nice, large, newly renovated room. Light breakfast was perfect. Staff was very friendly. We had heavy traffic, road construction and detour due to a bad car accident. We got to the hotel at midnight and were very tired. Check-in was fast and friendly. Thanks.

I did not stay the smoking was horrible i was told they did not have non smoking rooms because everyone stands out to smoke it goes thru the air conditioners
