Bald Hills Motel

Never visit the TAB at this venue ! Very surprised that they continue to maintain their license! Unbelievable, as service to the TAB is non existent, even in very quiet days leaving punters frustrated and annoyed! The manager and staff DO NOT appear to be interested in serving the TAB patrons rather focus their attention to the pokies area ONLY Hopefully, someone from Coles will look into this as a matter of urgency as they are losing a lot of TAB patrons

Needed a motel in the area for a business trip, rooms were comfortable, staff were friendly but you have to ask to get your room cleaned, there are cheaper places in the area which are of comparable standard

The manager was very helpful and friendly. I booked because it was the closest motel to the venue for a gig I was going to. I thought it was a bit expensive to be honest, but I guess they can charge as much as they like as it appears to be the only motel in the area. It's really, really old, but they have refurbished the rooms and it doesn't look too bad inside. It's a typical country-type motel where you'd normally pay around $75/night for a room. Everything was clean (apart from the extra blanket - it was covered in long strands of hair and I couldn't use it!) and smelled fresh. I would come back here if I was going to a gig at the same venue.

I was in Brisbane for work and stayed 3 nights, was truly my home away from home, fun friendly service and they go that extra mile to make you feel welcome, definatly will be going back when im in brissy

Booked the Bald Hills Motel for Business. Initially staff looked nice but night time, they (about 4 of them) accumulated right outside my window and just smoked and talked till about 2 am. Also to note that the bathroom window cannot be totally closed, it is designed to suck the air when the fan of the shower is on. There is a sign ''smokers point'' but they went over the fence and did not stay in the ''smokers point'' section. The next day I took photos and found out there is an asbestos warning too which goes nicely with passive smoking.

We found the Bald Hills Motel ideal while we were in Brisbane for a karate seminar and tournament. The room was comfortable, location was perfect and most of all, the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful one. We will definitely be back😊

We're from Adelaide and was visiting Brisbane as we left from there for our South Pacific cruise for our honeymoon. We only stayed one night, but it was absolutely awesome. The new managers are fantabulous ladies, and the husband of one of the new managers even took us to the airport, for a small fee of course, but was much cheaper than a taxi. Will definitely be staying again when we visit :) 2 thumbs up ladies

I stayed over night in room 1 .the first room to be renovated so far and it was clean fresh relaxing very beautiful. The two owners were lovely and caring ladies who made my stay very welcome. Would stay there again many times. :) 5 stars massive improvements since staying there 4-5 years ago. Many thanks regards Katie. :):)

We were here for a darts tournament and we booked the whole motel out. we loved thr place. one room had just been renovated and it was really nice. the managers were really friendly they are making improvements as of February 2016

This motel is older style with renovations currently taking place. It is located just off Gympie Rd which can be quite busy in some spots but traffic is fairly quiet here as the road veers around and the motel entrance is in another street. Our room had one double bed, a single bed, a small table with two chairs, a wardrobe and a kitchen cupboard plus a good sized flat screen TV. The room was comfortable and it was good to have a microwave and a largish bar fridge. There was plenty of hot water and good sized fluffy towels. The carpet was clean but a little stained due to age but no doubt will be replaced with the ongoing updates to the rooms. Crockery and cutlery are available at reception. The motel has a very nice family atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome. We enjoyed our stay here and would happily return in the future.
