This was the third time for my wife and I in Miami Beach but our first time at National Hotel. What drew us was the amazing looking pool and the adults only selection. Issues: Smoking! It is 2026 learn that others do not care to inhale your cancer nor smell. This is allowed by the hotel and encouraged. Events: TOO MANY PRIVATE EVENTS!!! 4 times in a week it closed the pool and severely limited capacity. It also closed the only bar/lunch spot in the hotel for a day. If you want to service both guest and private events separate them on site don't share the space. Other than the those the stay was ok. Yes, the staff was amazing, but the overall experience was meh. It was ok but not a repeat visit will be had.

We went on a cruise and needed a couple of down days before driving back home. Honestly, I wish we had skipped the cruise and just stayed here for 10 days. The place is beautiful. Yes, it is a well established Hotel, but the attention to detail, the staff-from valet to pool side bar and even the beach crew- are wonderful. Shout out to Ivan and Angel. There would be others if I could remember the names. Well done, National!
