The stay was fine except the stove top was out of order and I was not compensated or credited anything I bought food for my room to be cooked and was at a loss due to the stove top being out

I liked the suite, it was like a small apt. The Bedford police department is only about a mile away.The only complaint is the maid did not understand english, as one day I was trying to tell her I was still getting dressed and could she come back later to clean my room. I finally let her come in to clean the room, because I couldn't make her understand.

I have stayed plenty time NO complaints I don’t know if the housekeeping skipped our room but it was hair in the shower the walls was disgusting the door to loving room area from bathroom needs to be clean majorly and the walls, other than that it was ok, I don’t really want to complain because i have NEVER had a problem till last night

Clean room and perfect location

There were roaches in our room.

I decided to give Homewood Suites a try despite some negative reviews, mainly because they were one of the few in the area offering a two bedroom suite. Overall, the place was clean, and I was thankful for that. We didn’t see any bugs inside, just the giant mosquitos outside that looked big enough to need their own room key. A few simple changes could make a big difference in the overall experience. The towels are rough and should really be replaced. The pillows were mostly half sized, which felt odd, and also could use an update. The queen beds did not have full bedding, and what was there was thin, rough, and didn’t keep you warm. To make matters worse, when housekeeping was gone for the day there weren’t any extra items available at the desk to make up for what was missing. On the positive side, the bed itself was comfortable. One thing that surprised me was that this was the first hotel I’ve stayed at without a standard ice machine. There is ice available from the freezers in the rooms, but it is not quite the same. Breakfast was another weak spot, edible but disappointing compared to what other hotels in this price range typically offer. So, was it terrible? No. It was fine, and we managed. But with a few improvements, it could be much better. Would I stay here again? Probably not, unless the mosquitos start offering turn-down service.

The hotel was older but still in good condition. The staff was friendly. The cost was good.
