Comfort Suites Mason near Kings Island

breakfast location was ok, and breakfast was pretty good. Room was nice with a nice sitting area since we were there three days and spent some time in the motel in the evening, that was nice. Staff was courteous.

They had trouble keeping up with the guests that were there for breakfast, (ran out of sausage, eggs, and waffle batter) but if you were patient, they eventually brought more. Some people left as their was no seating. it was very crowded. same menu all three days, bacon would have been a nice difference, but overall the food was good. We noticed they did not keep the stairwell area clean, also some fries had fallen in the hall by the elevator, that we noticed were still there the next day. Motel seems to have not been updated which is fine, but hall carpets need a good scrubbing. Our rooms heater did not work, it was nice and cool though. We mentioned it at checkout as it was not that important to us, was warm enough under the blankets and with a sweater on when we were sitting around The pool was not open when we got there which was very disappointing as I have back trouble and after traveling, it is always helpful to get in the water. It was open the next day, a little cool, but ok. I am used to a warm pool. The entrance could have been marked better, we had trouble figuring out how to get in. We drove past it more than once, but since we were there three days, we figured it out.

The pool was very small and very cold, breakfast area was a bit too small so it was over crowded in the morning and not enough employees to help with it- they were unable to keep up with the amount of people there so they were out of most of the hot food almost all time time as it was gone as soon as it was brought out

Clean comfortable bed and pillows. Laundry facilities available with one washer and dryer. Nice pool.

Narrow area to get to the sketchy elevator which was rather concerning because I was stuck in it for about 5 minutes. It stopped in between floors and wouldn't move after pushing every button multiple times. Thankfully I had my cell in hand. Was calling the desk while still pushing buttons and it finally moved. The staff was very nonchalant about it. Kept repeating (in broken English) that they had called to have it fixed... so you knew there was a problem, did not label the elevator out of order and continued to allow your guest to use it! Unexceptable! Didn't offer any condolences or concessions even though I told them that it was a scary experience. Another guest attempting to use the elevator, the door opened and they did not even warn them! Also inexcusable
