Staff was wonderful

BEWARE! They fraudulently stole $250 from my bank account after I checked out. When I inquired about it the Mgr Jaime said it was a smoking fee the GM charged because “someone smelled smoke”. Yes, I am a smoker, but I DO NOT smoke in ANY hotels. Have never had any issue at any hotel ever because I always smoke in their designated outside smoking areas. I did the same here but also smoked in my car due to freezing temps outside. The Mgr Jaime said she could verify this since she saw me going out. The cameras could also verify this. I smoked in my car after eating breakfast (again, manager can and did verify this) then went up and got my luggage from room and checked out, so possibly my clothes smelled of smoke? However, even if that is it, I don’t recall any policy where they can charge you $250 for “smelling” like smoke, which is quite different from actually smoking in a room. The lack of response or communication from the GM in this matter is also quite disappointing. I certainly expect better from a HILTON brand hotel.

The lady who checked us in, I believe her name is Chasity, was very friendly and welcoming. We just loved her!

5 am outside noise with dumpster noise

Dissatisfied insomnia Sleepers- no rest! Breakfast adequate & convenient. First room had ants on bed, crawling up wall, on telephone table, in bathtub. They moved us to another room which was most inconvenient since it was after midnight before we got moved to second room. Turns out second room had ants in bathtub. we declined to move again that night. Second night ants were in the tub when the 2nd guest took a shower , the tub leaked water. Notified front desk. She implied guest had shower head turned towards curtain? & may have not closed the curtain with magnet. The water was coming from under the tile . This was a fall hazard if a person didn't see the water outside the tub & around the toilet. We agreed to spend yhe night . Move in AM. AM front desk person offered room by elevater on first floor but we declined that room. Then told us to go ahead & do what we scheduled & when we came back they'd have another room ready. In the middle of my meeting, the GM called & said it was urgent that he talk to me. He asked us to come back as soon as possible cause he needed us out of that room so he could rent it to someone else. When we got back , we were told the room wasn't ready! The room was soon ready. It was OK except slow drain from tub. This was an experience we choose not to repeat.

We like how clean Hampton Hotels always are and the breakfast is good
