Hostel Poseidon - HM

To be honest actually nothing. Can't say something more.

Acoustics of this building is a total mistake. If you want to hear someone literally taking a .... or .... ;) when trying to sleep in your bed at 2am while room door is closed is the best place on the Island ! Every room door makes great noise when someone close or open it. While our stay there where some workers who actually didn't care about anything, they were speaking loud in the hall late in night, swearing, slaming the doors etc. You can easily hear people talking, coughing, doing something in their room, the hall obviously also. The owner doesn't care about it and says it's only a hostel and the voices cannot be "completly avoided". We've been to many hostels and in every each one people cared about normal order in common parts of hostel, same as the owners. You won't find it here. It's dirty everywhere, almost all furniture's is broken and "repaired" in style of a caveman. We have left it after five sleepless night out of booked eight. Made a normal proposition to owner to give back money for 3 nights. He proposed some "apartment" upstairs but we didn't agree. Not in this place, not with this owner who does not care who lives in his place. It's completely not worth the price. To mr owner: Remember you only got one honor in your life.

There is the nicest staff member who works there!! He told me and my friend about all the local hotspots and helped us with transportation. He even offered to drive us to the beach twice and made great conversation! Amazing experience and would definitely recommend staying here :)

My room was large and bed pretty comfortable toilets were shared as was the kitchen area there’s also a terrace area

There was cockroaches in the property in the toilet and in my room..I know they can be a common problem in warmer countries but need to be eliminated if your renting out rooms to guests and want higher ratings also the location is a long way out from beaches and the main town be aware you will have a long walk or have to use transportation to get to the coast or the dunes

Kitchen was smelly and not very clean(4/10). Hosts could have checked more on the hygiene of the kitchen. Ofcourse most guests would clean after themselves yet not take care of the hole kitchen. The shower wasn't very clean until 6 days later (stayed 8 days). Not mentioning human debris in that sense, noting slight molds and brown tints from dirt over time. 6 days later was cleaned like about 90% which was more pleasant (mold taken away and brown tints fairly gone). Beds were nice, room wasn't bad. Would rather have a closed bin. The hosts were lovely and when we asked for assistance, they helped fairly quickly.

Comfortable bed, quiet hostal, wifi was good & Local shops Spar & Mercadona were good for groceries. Bus service to the lighthouse or San Fernando was hourly & only 1.40€.

I put some laundry on the washing line on the terrace & somebody stole my nice T-shirts. Kitchen was a bit dirty but I didn't need to use it. El Tablero is a couple of kilometres from tourist places & if you walk it is uphill all the way back.

The stuff was fery friendly and helpful 👍🌞

Loud guests having argument in the motel. Screaming guy and crying women for over 1h. Even staff couldn't help
