Location!

A bit of noise from the restaurant but acceptable

The location is perfect. The apartment is well resourced and comfortable, as as advertised. The outlook over the Douro River is wonderful.

Everything was excellent.

A very comfortable apartment right on the riverfront. The furnishings and amenities are of high quality. The hostess was available for any issues. I had arrived a little early, so the code would not work. But, a quick phone call was all that was required to rectify the problem.

The only issue we initially encountered was finding the apartment as the taxi driver had a difficult time following the GPS. We eventually found the apartment after we were dropped off at a nearby MacDonalds.

It's a perfect location to base yourself in. Even if you're not spending much time in the Ribeira area, it's so central and walkable to any area of Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia. Sitting on the comfy chair at the window, watching the boats drift by on the Duoro River, while cable cars float up and down above the backdrop of Gaia, with the iconic signs of Ports illuminated, is one of the highlights of the trip, and the main reason we booked this place for a second time. The apartment is clean, spacious, comfortable and relaxing. All the amenities you need, with a stellar view and great location.

Dans l'appartement : les odeurs du restaurant (restaurant se trouvant juste en dessous), nous ont génées et c'était fort désagréable. D'ailleurs, nos vêtements sentaient la friture... Salon : 1 seule fenêtre (sur les 3 fenêtres) donnant sur le Douro s'ouvrait correctement, mais pas les autres : impossible de les ouvrir ! Quand nous sommes arrivés : il y avait des miettes de pain sur le canapé !! Salle de bains : le robinet du lavabo qui bouge énormément : problème de fixation. Manque 1 ou 2 rouleaux de papier WC (3 rouleaux pour 2 personnes, pour 4 jours ! c'est juste ...), mais nous en avons acheté, par peur d'en manquer... Lit : peu confortable.

No kettle to boil water- resorted to a saucepan to have a cup of tea. Safe did not work as no batteries.
