Sleep Inn at Greenville Convention Cente

As we were leaving to go out for the evening I reported to the front desk that our room had only two bath towels--no hand towels or wash cloths. He apologized and then put a stack of linens on the counter. I said we're leaving now, thinking it wasn't good practice to expect us to stop and take the linens to our room. When we returned, no additional linens were in our bathroom. When we arrived i reported to the front desk that the phone had a blinking red light. He said some of the phones malfunction that way. When i asked if we were to sleep with a blinking red light i was told to unplug the phone. I did NOT get the impression that this facility is concerned with being prepared for guests.

Heater and toilet both were not working. No other room, partial refund, or apologies offered, just a plunger. Left well before check out time. It's not worth the price. Definitely stay some place else.

The room was clean and nice but the bathroom shower door was broken and was tricky not to get the floor soaked. At night even though at capacity, there was little to no noise and the bed was comfortable allowing for a good nights sleep.

In the middle of the night I felt something crawling on my face. I knocked it off and quickly jumped up to grab a tissue to pick it up. I when I turned the light on to my surprise it was a bed bug. I checked the bed for other critters, and I found none. The next morning I was alarmed when I found a roach crawling on the wall beside the bed. I took photos of both! Had I found them earlier in the day, and not in the middle of the night while my family slept, I would have reported and demanded a room change or refund.

This hotel was priced right, clean, had breakfast, Krispy Kream across the street, easy for Uber to access, between downtown and the airport.

When the lights went off, they promised me they would not kick me out. They did not serve breakfast. They wouldn’t let me back in the room. They took my stuff and called the police on me banned me from the property.

This hotel refused to refund me my money after I was unable to check in due to flights being grounded in my area. Despite NEVER checking in, they refused to give me back any money for my planned 4 day stay that had to be canceled due to flights being grounded.. Such poor customer service! They didnt even keep one day and give me back the rest!! Save yourself and go somewhere else... Very unprofessional!
