Days Inn by Wyndham Ocean Springs

Front desk clerk was nice. After checking into the 2nd room, now with water leaks, we noticed the TV also was not working. We called the front desk and they came quickly and re-hooked the TV up because prior guests disconnected it to play video games😞

1st room was missing the actual door handle to get out of the room. Had we gone in and closed the door, we would have been locked in. We were moved to another room which we immediately noticed a water pipe leak from the sink when you turn on the water, so I moved a trash can under it to avoid further flooding. The bath tub had a continuous trickle leak and the bathroom door didn't close or latch. The only other rooms were upstairs, and based on the activity in the parking lot and people sleeping in cars, I decided to leave this motel/hotel at 12:32 am and just drive straight thru the night to get home. As I traveled from DC, checking in to hotel/motels this trip, I noticed a pattern and change in the quality of standards has shifted. Why offer clean, and available rooms when clearly they are not checked for quality or proper working conditions. As a guest, we pay to stay at places, expecting decent and clean accommodations! 40+ years as a corporate traveler, I can honestly say, I miss the old days where companies were about following a Mission Statement and wanted a great reputation, happy customers, good experiences and enjoyable stays.

Everything was good. But pool needed attention. It was trashed.

The price was great! Staff was friendly snd helpful.

It was quit at night 1st time !!

The carpet is would have tile on floor to keep it cleaner after each stay !

Nothing

Everything. The overnight clerk was alone and couldn't help and didn't seem to want to. The room was disgusting, the bedding wasn't changed, it had sunflower seeds boogers (?) And pieces of paper all in the bed. The bed plastic was still on the bed, so it made noise every time you moved. Oh, and we had to put the "clean" sheets on the bed ourselves. The fridge had food in it and nasty stuff all in it. Public hair on the bathroom counter and sink. The shower/tub was disgusting, so bad that you'd be dirtier bathing in it than when you got in it. Floor was wet feeling. The tv didn't work. So much, it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had!

Tv did not work, bathroom not clean (hair in tub drain) had to clean before we could shower (water backed up in tub), room door had to be shimmed for it to open, 1 wash cloth (2 people) and reserved a King Bed no smoking and was put on a room with 2 doubles beds and smelled like a dirty ashtray. Very dissatisfied 😤😤😤
