Days Inn by Wyndham Ocean Springs

1st wwe get there to check in the office is closed. There is not a note on the door or anything. We rode around the building and found an employee and asked where is the office to check in we went to the front and no one is there the guy said no one‘s there we said no so he goes to walk around and we drove around and at the same time this guy is walking up to the door. Well, he was the check in person he was surely not appropriately dressed he had on shorts and a T-shirt with a hole on top of the shirt… 2ed we go to get in our room. The door will not open go downstairs get the key re-keyed go back upstairs still fighting with the door housekeeper comes and says y’all need help we said yes there is a problem and the door will not open. Is there a trick to it? She laughs and says yeah some rooms have tricks while she tries and finally gets it well the trick to this room was you have to pick up the handle and basically push your whole body into the door to open it. 3rd walk into room and the room stinks. I had to go get air fresheners to put in it 4th go to the bathroom the bathtub was very disgusting. We had to go buy flip-flops to take a shower, cause we were not gonna touch the floor. Then the wall on the shower had some stuff on it while it was makeup that was never washed off. 5th go to get ice there is a sign on the icemaker that says broken go next door to the other motel on the second floor and get ice…. 6th behind the door in the bathroom there was a dead roach that was smashed all over the floor and then when I go to the bathroom at about 2 AM, there was a roach crawling around in the bathtub.. 7th. There is a table in the room with no chairs. 8th they clearly have a sign that says no smoking and people are definitely outside smoking cigarettes, and Lord knows whatever else… 9th the noise was horrible while you’re trying to sleep kids are running around screaming and hollering and even adults were very loud.

Property was nice, breakfast area wasn’t as clean but that could’ve been some guests fault. Breakfast wasn’t what I was expecting.

Couldn’t really complain about the property it’s an older hotel and I expected what I got, room was nice size and comfortable so no complaints on that

Waiting for staff to check in. No coffee cups for breakfast coffee or much breakfast at all.
