Hilton Garden Inn Flagstaff

We stayed here one night on our way to the Grand Canyon. It is conveniently located right off the I-40 and I-17 interstates as you enter the southern end of town. There are plenty of convenient places to eat in the vicinity, and it is across the street from the Northern Arizona University campus. It is about a five minute drive to the downtown area. This is a pretty standard Hilton in this product line. The rooms are clean and functional. There is plenty of light and accessible outlets. I did get the sense that the walls were thin, and you could hear people coming and going. Luckily it was not crowded during our stay. In the lobby they offer coffee and tea to go. In the morning there is a small restaurant serving a hot breakfast buffet at a reasonable cost. You can apply your Hilton Diamond member discount there. The only negative was the reception staff who were rude and unfriendly both at check in and check out. If that is your one customer contact point, they really need to staff it with more professional employees.

The hotel was nice, clean rooms. However, it advertises restaurant on site and they do not have one. We are diamond members and have been staying in Hilton Garden Inns crossing the US, specifically for the lobby bar and restaurant. They still advertise they have one. Very disappointing! They did have breakfast and they charged my husband $10 for one bowl of oatmeal.

A no-frills hotel right on the edge of Flagstaff town very close to restaurants and retail stores. It’s located close to the university. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There is an indoor pool, but we didn’t use it. There are elevators situated conveniently close to the front desk. Checking in was fairly easy and staff were helpful about where to park and how to access our room. The room was neat and clean with a TV, fridge and coffee machine. Hair dryer and ironing board was also available. All in all, would recommend for a short stay.

Easy to find, right off freeway!

The parking spaces were a little small and not very many available.
