Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head

This hotel is on the outskirts of Waikiki where it is laid back and quiet. There was even a monk seal and baby just at the beach in front of the hotel.

Great position near to the main hub of Waikiki but far enough away to make it a quiet relaxing area

Lovely room, great view, amazing staff….nothing was too much trouble for them. Only stayed for 4 days, but are thinking about returning already. Never used most of the available amenities, but a great point from where to explore the area.

Loved this hotel! Wonderful stay, great staff, comfortable bed, attractive rooms, filtered water, and quality shampoo etc.

Loved the location of the Lotus. Easy access to the amenities of Waikīkī without the hubbub. The staff was welcoming, the hotel was quiet, the room clean, and a wonderful view of the park, Diamond head, and the beach. As one Uber driver commented, “It’s a hidden gem.”

The location was great - just far enough away from the busyness of Waikiki, but still walkable. The staff were all exceptional. The air conditioner was not working when we arrived so they did discount our rates. We unfortunately were unable to use the closest beach area due to monk seals, but it was very cool to see the monk seals. Unfortunately, they do not have a pool and their on-site restaurant was not open on the day we arrived. Overall Recommend.

Clean. Friendly staff. Good location. Free laundry. DIL likes the coffee van outside.

The air conditioner did not work the first night. Slept with doors open on third floor. Wish we were higher in the building and next to the other room that I reserved.

I enjoyed staying here even though the AC was out. I was here for business and traveling alone and it was nice to be on the quieter side of Waikiki. Customer service was stellar. I was fortunate to have a corner room which had a nice breeze blowing through it in the evening and I'm not an AC snob so I was okay with sleeping open lanai style.

The customer service was exceptional. Staff was nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, the AC system was down during our stay, but they provided us with fans and made sure we were comfortable. We also dined at Arden Waikiki and had a great dining experience. We would highly recommend the hotel and restaurant.
