Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head

Excellent hotel on the more quiet side of Waikīkī. Super friendly staff. Near the water and a park . Spacious room and amenities. Enjoyed free glass of wine every night.

Run down, bad service and no AC in the whole building, hot and uncomfortable, dirty hotel. Avoid this trashy hotel.

Awesome location: 1 min to a beautiful park and waterfront. The staff is kind and helpful! The room was clean. A lot of parking spots.

Great location out of the Waikiki crowds, older but very nice hotel - not a resort - which is what works best for us. Beds, bedding and pillows are awesome. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

$200+ per day to access a room without AC or a working shower. This is absolutely unacceptable, and quite possibly the biggest disappointment of my stay in Hawaii. Avoid at all costs!

Great location, atmosphere, sizable rooms, and amenities (gym laundry etc.). All the staff are professional, warm, and well-trained.

This is not a 4 star hotel anymore. The elevator was out of service for 2 days. When you reserve a room, the option is only a king bed or two double beds. They stuck us in a the 2 old worn-out double beds. Very uncomfortable for $300+ per night. Right next to a noisy road. The balcony railings are not code compliant. Our toddler put her head between the vertical bars. Spacing should be 4 inches. These are almost 6 inches. So we couldn't open the balcony doors to enjoy the fresh air. Manager is aware but did nothing and no warning.

This place was amazing. It’s right down the main strip, but separated by a park so it’s a bit more peaceful. Partial ocean views, great service, tons of birds on the property if that interests you. Short walk to the beach and main attractions. Absolutely would stay again!
