The bed was very comfortable, the tv was great as you could cast from your mobile device. The location was convenient for us to get to Temple Newsham by taxi. There was a lovely pub just down the road for food and drinks.

It was a bit unclean - the walls were dusty with some cobwebs, hairs on the pillows and in the bed. The shower was quite weak and not very powerful. Our handsoap in the bathroom didn’t work, and we had to take the lid off to pour it. We asked for additional tea/milk and toilet roll and were given very meagre supplies between four of us (across two rooms) and we felt bad for asking for more. Breakfast ended very early, so there wasn’t an option to eat there and no information on breakfast times (we were wanting to eat at 9:30am). Also we had to pay for parking, and again - there was no information regarding this on booking.

i found the mattress hard and the bathroom wasnt up to scratch, the floor was clean but could have done with a bit more up todate cleaning

Cheap car parking although considering its location I would have expected it to be free.

Cleanliness was lacking in some areas especially in the bathroom behind the door and in the corners, and looked like the recently refurbished rooms were done in a rush or by low grade tradespeople. Having said that, it’s a low budget hotel and it was OK.
