Nice location. Lovely old world charm.Big rooms. Big fluffy towels.

No Tv reception. Maintenance of our room poor. One light not working, curtain falling off rails, mould in shower and we were unable to lock doors to the outside which led to a poor night’s sleep. Maintenance of garden around chateau nil. Dead trees, long grass, burn piles and just scruffy. No staff onsite overnight just a phone number for emergencies.

This place is beautiful. Set on beautiful gardens with mountain views. Loads of history, each room named after someone who helped build the place or worked there when it was a vineyard. Very large rooms with comfortable beds and a bathroom with a wonderful shower and old cast iron bath.

Building and garden maintenance needed. No tv reception. No onsite restaurant open every day.
