Extended Stay America Suites - Tucson - Grant Road

We stayed in a doggie room. the floor was stickie and dirty, the chair had a sticky stain, the toilet had a ring around it and the bed looked disheveled and almost used. I would NOT stay there again. The night clerk that checked us in was great however.

I’ve been to one other extended stay (in Phoenix area) and it was impeccable with a nice welcoming lobby. This place was in obvious need of repair. The lobby was a tiny room which required a phone call to enter after hours. There was what seemed to be drug use in the area/parking lot. I could not tell if they were residents/guests or homeless individuals from the neighborhood. The bed was comfortable enough, though it only had two pillows. The sheets seemed clean. There were plenty of towels and soap. The kitchen was adequate, though with old and cosmetically damaged appliances (did not use the stove to see if it worked). The carpet was filthy/stained in many areas. I could not walk on it barefoot. AC worked, blackout curtains adequate. Rooms to outside walkway like a motel. I was on second floor. Grab and go breakfast minimal with no real milk/creamer. IHOP right across the street Very convenient to TMC (two blocks away), which is why I chose this place.

Evening receptionist was cordial and helpful

Breakfast was miserable at best. No hairdryer!

The property as usual, was clean and beautiful The rooms were clean and nice comfortable.

only thing I think they need to change is update on the TVs and the channels because there’s nothing really to watch you’re flipping through the same channels

It was not good said there was a pool but there wasn't. Only had 2 pillows and I'm disabled and needed the accommodations there was none. Not happy at all

It was quite, good place for a night.
