Room was great. Staff were very friendly and nice.

They only serve Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and coffee for breakfast. I booked because it said they served breakfast. Probably won’t stay here again.

The room was damp and smelled like dog or dirty carpeting. It was very humid in mid-July and we tried drying the room out by keeping the A/C on. Unfortunately, this only meant that we slept under damp, cold sheets. The room was clean, but it needs some TLC, especially the bathtub with its black stains. Breakfast was a muffin with juice or coffee.

I called the property to request a balcony and she was rude and said I can't help with that you will need to contact expedia. So I sent a message through expedia with never a response from the hotel even 5 days after the stay. The hotel advertised free breakfast and there was packaged muffins and watered down orange juice. The bathroom fan did not work. The refrigerator did not work and being there for 5 days and 4 nights was not pleasant as we had to keep buying our ice for our own cooler. With 3 adults and a child when you expect what is advertised we expected a more comfortable stay especially for the amount we paid. Will never stay at motel 8 again or ever recommend it. The pictures on there website are 8 years old!
