Copper King Convention Center, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Convenient location on the edge of town felt safe, yet close to services and the interstate.

The pool hours are 10 am to 10 pm, I really wanted a morning swim before leaving but had to hit the road before the pool opened.

There was a barking dog that barked without ceasing.We called the desk twice. I was to!d there was nothing they could do about the situation. I was offered a different room which I refused, explaining I was not going to change rooms as I did not create the problem. I was further told we were on a "pet wing". I asked why they would no pet owners on that wing. I was told quiet hours did not begin until 10:00 pm and nothing could be done about the situation.

The first thing I would ask is that people traveling without pets not be put in the section of the hotel with people traveling with their pets. Number two, I found it unbelievable that the burden of this situation was put on the customer. Thirdly, this clerk demanded I treat her with respect. I was respectful, but I disagreed with her and the practice the hotel used in this situation. To disagree does not make you disrespectful. Suffice it to say we will never stay at the Copper King again. It us a shame as it is a very nice facility.

Up to date and fashionable hotel, comfortable bed and pillows. The Hotel felt very safe and the staffing was GREAT!

I am an early riser and unfortunately the pool and Hot tub is only open 10 am to 10 pm. I would have liked a morning swim beforeb hitting the road.

The manager

The clerk at the desk was unable to help us but went and got the manager. The curtains were worn and torn. I was unable to get a receipt for our night's stay in the mornings.

There was a good place to eat in the hotel.the pool was well chlorinated . There was a hot tub there. Continental breakfast was good. Overall a good place to stay. They say they are pet friendly.

The rooms are different to where you are facing.if facing the pool the showers are better . New room.Room face if the parking lot smaller shower.. rooms that face inward to the pool could be noisy.
