You kind of get what you pay for. Pretty dated but the staff we’re very nice and the room was clean

Quality was about as expected for this price. We didn’t need anything special since we were spending long days in Acadia. The place was clean and had daily house keeping. Very out dated and some broken ceiling tiles, but clean. AC worked great. The room fit our need perfectly and didn’t break the bank

First of all the lady who worked the office was extremely nice. The TV and WiFi worked after some assistance from her. The room was clean. However, the place is extremely “run down.” There were holes in the roof, the shower had no pressure and the sink controls were not plumbed correctly. There was a “slope” to the floor which you could immediately tell was unlevel. I realize the place was only $70/night, but it was in such poor shape it should have been a $30/night hotel. No one was at the checkin when you arrived, and you had to call the office manager by phone to announce you had arrived. I guess next time I visit Bar Harbor I’ll just have to bite the bullet and accept the he fact that you have to pay $300/night.

Budget motel that badly needs improvements, but a great value for the extremely close proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Stay away from this dump. The exterior condition is poor: paint falling apart, roof is in shambles. There were people loitering in the parking lot and didn’t look safe. Inside the room there were critters. The room was dated, had a musty odor and was very small - a double/ queen bed barely fit. The bathroom was old and smaller than a cruise ship bathroom. We booked online based on the description and pre paid over $140 per night for 2 nights. At the property they were offering the rooms for $69 per night. Still no takers. We didn’t check in as the online description did not match the property. However the hotel would not refund our payment. We do not recommend this property. Unfortunately we’ve had similar bad experiences with Hotels.com. They do not stand behind the property listings nor do they verify them. The star rating does not mean anything - I would give this property 0 stars and delist them. I’m not happy with how Hotels.com handled or reservation either.

If you're looking for economy stay with no fringe benefits for a night stay, go for it.

Lot of character but very old and worn. Was very clean though and staff was pleasant. Great thing is price was half or third of other properties in area.

No hand soap, stain on the pillow, scratching noise in the wall, Did the job.
