Terrible terrible property, highly unsafe and worst amenities

Rooms were too small. Carpet was a bit wet. Bathroom was very small. Bathtub is unnecessarily at a high level.

The hot shower, bed and quiet room made this a surprisingly good night's sleep and away from the crowds in Bar Harbor.

The room was pretty stark but it was clean and we paid so much less than other hotels in the area.

Well, it was old. Venerable lol.

Pictures were not representative of the property. It was also only a few feet from a busy highway and noisy.

I will not stay again. The toilet was hard to flush, no response after requesting another room. Heater did not produce much warmth, Blanket very thin. I wore a jacket to bed. We knew no refridge, but ice maker at office was always empty. No windows to open to let shower mist out, so everything was moist. Way too expensive! The house keeper was nice.

It turns out they are right next to the Bar Harbor Lobster Pound (which is one of the main reasons we come to Maine). Nice folks in the office and the room was ok, bed was comfortable.

Terrible. Place does not deserve to be open. No running hot water for shower, no temperature control (heater that does not regulate heat), and mold inside the bathroom of rooting wood!
