Market Place

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Ponta Delgada. The house was perfect, very comfortable and well equipped. The location is excellent, close to everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Azores. Thank you

L'apartament és net, tot molt nou, comfortable i ben situat. El personal és molt amable. A walking distance del centre i el port per activitats aquàtiques. Molt bé!

Tot molt bé... hem trobat a faltar una tostadora i ens han sobrat alguns hostes sorollosos per l'escala per la nit!

Appartements neufs idéalement situés en plein cœur de Ponta Delgada. Notre appartement était très vaste et arrangé de façon moderne et avec goût. Nous ne sommes restés qu’une seule nuit avant notre départ des Açores (située à 10 min en taxi de l’aéroport).

Rien, tout était parfait. Nous n’avons pas réussi à faire fonctionner le wifi, mais nous ne sommes pas restés assez longtemps pour résoudre le problème.

The apartment is very well located in Ponta Delgada with access to everything within easy walking distance. There is also off-road parking - the space is tight so rent a small car, but it’s preferable to street parking as the streets are very narrow. The apartment was very clean on arrival and the communication with the agency was excellent. There is plenty of storage space for clothes and there are facilities to wash and dry clothes.

The apartment is very sparsely furnished and also lacks adequate kitchen utensils for home cooking. The outdoor space in our apartment was not well maintained and not a very nice place to spend time - the photos you see are for more than one apartment in the block and you really don’t know exactly what your apartment will look like (we had apartment B). Our outside view was mainly of other buildings (plus the sea in the distance).

Closeness to downtown, marina and ease getting around.

I struggled with brightness in bedroom. However, on day 3, realised electric buttons were behind the curtains lol.

Location: Great, it was about 10-15 min walk to city center and most of the restaurant, cafes and supermarket. Property: Overall good. We had an issue with the WIFI at first, but one of the cleaning ladies was able to fix the issues and was helpful. The property is well maintained, clean and modern looking. It has a nice private balcony, not much of a view (just buildings), but it gave us some privacy. Also, there is indoor parking (very small spot), which was very helpful, since it is challenging to park on the very small city streets. There was a nice welcome basket, which was a nice added touch and we really appreciated it. Overall we enjoyed the property and we loved Sao Miguel.

Bedroom - Curtains didn't have enough privacy shades, every morning the light would come through and there was no way to block off. Also, the beds and pillows were okay, they were not very comfortable. The beds were two twin beds put together which at time was hard to sleep in the middle of the bed (if you are a couple and want to cuddle). No washing machine, which would have been an added bounces.
