- nice apartment in a quiet location - Carlos was a great and helpful host - There is even a washing machine and tumble dryer available (use for an additional charge) - Parking space is available - TV with Netflix available

- Couch in the living room could be replaced - quite uncomfortable - Location is a bit out of the way, you need a car to get to Santa Elena etc

The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We even have got a couple of eggs for breakfast, but also lots of local information and advice. If we come back to Costa Rica, we will for sure try to get back to visit Carlos again

We had a great stay here, it was comfortable, with free parking so it was great for us with our rental car. The location is just outside of Santa Elena and you just drive maybe 100 metres to the main road which is a great plus as in Monteverde there are many diet roads once you get out of the centre. The owners, Carlos and Isabel are super nice and friendly, we really enjoyed chatting with them. Good shower too here.

So cosy and comfortable, with great facilities and Carlos is an absolutely excellent host. He is so kind and considerate, and really makes sure his guests are taken care of.

Quaint Costa Rican home. Lovely hosts who live on site, separated by a secure door, but we had lots of privacy. Received complimentary eggs, enough for breakfast each morning. Great price and value for money. Clean and neat. Well equipped kitchen that came with spices and ground coffee as well. Located in a quiet and safe area, a short drive into town. Would recommend.

Owners are amazingly warm people, who made us feel very welcome. In addition, we received good advice for visiting Monteverde cloud forests & restaurant suggestions for eating out. House is cozy, homely, and has everything you need.

NIce to be in a local neighborhood with people farming in the area. The Bakery nearby is good for basics. We got good advise from Carlos for things to do in the area. There is alot to do! Kitchen is great and really appreciate there being some spices and even some eggs for breakfast! Really everyting you need to make your own meals-we do like to get local veges and do our own thing now and then.

Really, it is just as described. A long walk to town, but there are some restaurants in walking distance. Nice, cozy place.

it’s an amazing rustic tico lifestyle cozy place in the middle of the high cloud mountains of Monteverde. Full of green sight from every window of the house and lovely sounds of the birds. Great location. Excellent hosts. Full equipped. Kitchen wise… great!!
