Clean, convenient, parking on site (though they only have 21 spaces for 23 units so it is not guaranteed), front desk extremely helpful and pleasant, breakfast delivery to your door, rooftop deck on which to enjoy your breakfast if you wish, we were the only ones up there, which was so serene.

The website did a very poor job of showing the actual layout of the room. The room is a two story suite very inconvenient very poorly designed.and hazardous to negotiate Other than a central location and friendly staff it’s an unremarkable property vastly overpriced, poor value and poor accommodations

My wife and I stayed at the Mill Street Inn for a 5 day vacation. The room we had was like a sound recording booth; about the only thing you could occasionally hear was when a neighbor would close their door. This was only noticeable from the “living room” area of the space; nothing could be detected from the bedroom which led to some excellent sleeping conditions. On that note, we have a sleep number bed at our home, and typically when we vacation, I end up with a sore back. The Casper bed here was wonderful. A breakfast is provided, and in what I thought was a unique and welcome fashion. A menu was left by house keeping during the day for you to select your choices. This was collected by midnight every night, and brought to your room at your designated time! Very guest friendly. Daily choices included fresh fruit, pastry, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee and tea. (On mornings where we were going to be a little more active, say “Cliff Walking”, we found a great brunch spot called “Franklin Spa” on Spring Street near St Mary’s). Parking is included with your stay, and parking can be pricey in Newport, so that’s a big plus. The space is cramped, but functional. The location of the inn is very convenient to restaurants and the harbor. We chose to drive to the Cliff Walk, but there is a free trolley. We found all of the employees here to be a joy to interact with. The front desk personnel are eager to help you with anything you need to make your stay better, and the house keeping personnel take a lot of pride in maintaining the property. Best place I've ever stayed. The staff was so friendly, the accommodations were so nice, the room was in fantastic shape, the town was walkable. Across the board everything was 10/10. If I can help it I will stay here every time I'm in Newport going forward.

Great location.... Central but quiet area. Staff extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Roomy accomodation with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast delivered to the room at a time to suit, and was very adequate. Room very clean and serviced daily on demand. Plenty of complimentary toiletries provided and good coffee and tea making facilities. No complaints at all.

The breakfast was good and convenient. The location was also ideal for access to the main shopping spots and restaurants. The patio was awesome with plenty of space and seating. Probably the best shower that we have ever experienced while traveling. The staff was friendly and informative.

Nice large suite. Welcome bag of snacks at check-in. Water and ice brought to your room. Daily breakfast of pastry, yogurt, fresh fruit, OJ, coffee, and tea delivered to your room. Roof top deck accessible during warm, clear days. Comfortable bed and nice shower with rain shower and hand held shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash pump bottles in the shower. Just a couple of blocks away from restaurants and shops. We enjoyed staying here. Ask for a ground floor room. Otherwise you will be lugging your luggage up stairs.
