"Disappointed Returning Guest"

I’ve always enjoyed staying at Hotel on Phillips for its amenities and friendly staff, but my recent visit was disappointing. The in-room phone didn’t work, the room temperature was difficult to control (had to open windows to get airflow, traffic noise, after-bar patrons, etc.), keys needed multiple replacements, and most importantly, the majority of the front desk staff were rude and unwelcoming (Phil at check-in was excellent). I was hosting my boyfriend visiting Sioux Falls for the first time, and these issues left me extremely regretful for booking a room there and completely embarrassed. I reached out to management via an online form and additionally mailed a physical letter but received no response, which made an already frustrating stay worse. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to address these issues, so future guests can enjoy the elevated experience and welcoming atmosphere that made me a loyal visitor in the first place.

It was beautiful and clean.

The front desk staff were not friendly, didn't ask how my stay was when checking out. I complained twice that the chrome cast didn't work and nothing was done or even said about it. They just looked at me, lol. The promised champaign was not in my room. The room was beautiful and clean, house keeping was fantastic. The front desk staff was like cardboard..
