Balcone su Otranto

Luigi was a lovely host & greeted me with care.

It's a homely place rather than stylish but it has everything you need for a great holiday in Otranto.

Location incredible, walk out onto the main esplanade, just outside of the old town, although still quiet at night. View of the main port with sunset views. Host Luigi was amazing, very hospitable and went the extra mile with finding car parks, including getting into the passenger seat to direct to the nearest car park. Very clean. Breakfast included at cafes on the esplanade.

Nothing, perfection !

This was the perfect spot to stay in Ostuni! Our host was wonderful, providing great detail and hints for places to eat. We enjoyed it very much. And would stay again.

I LOVED the location of this room, especially the view.

Finding it is tricky. No signage.

The owner Luigi, a lovely gentleman who surprised us with his ability to communicate via google Translate. Brilliant. We booked this as a B&B stay but were very happy to discover a full kitchen and a great private sun patio with an outdoor dining space. The room was very comfortable with insect screens on the windows as well as aircon if you needed it. The breakfast was facilitated by the cafe bar a few metres away on the ground floor. Usually, coffee and a croissant or savoury pastry. The location was superb. A minute or so from the safe beach with clear water and sand. Close to shops, restaurants, and cafes. In the other direction, about 50m from the old walled town with many more shops, ice cream parlours, and restaurants. In the residential area behind, there was a small supermarket for groceries. Otranto is a great holiday destination, and this accommodation is in the best place..

Nothing about the accommodation. Just initially, getting from the train station to Balcone su Otranto was a bit of a trek because there were no taxis or buses that we could find and so we resorted to Google maps and a 15-minute walk. But, Luigi, the owner, more than made up for this set back by kindly driving us back to the station at the end of our trip, which was very kind of him.

Luigi, the person in charge, is a very helpful and sympathetic person. The room is simple, but got everything you need, a beautiful view to the sea and the park, at a few steps to the "lungomare", restaurants, cafés and shops. We spent 4 nights and had a great time I hardly recommend Balcone su Otranto.

The location was great, very central and close to everything. The room was clean and spacious.

The balcony is a tiny one, you cannot sit, just stand. We found the owner bit annoying. Arrived there tired after driving many hours and he kept explaining for half an hour how to use a simple key to open the doors and how to open the windows.

Amazing location, sparkling clean, comfy apartment.

the location was good, small terrace with good view, the room & bathroom good & comfortable bed

no extras, like glasses or cups or kettle. a fridge but no complimentary water. no name at the door & checking in was difficult. although the owner had had a mishap on his way to meet us unfortunately. breakfast is by way of chits that are used at the cafe below.
