Hilton Guatemala City

We stayed at the Hilton in Guatemala, and while it’s a cute hotel with some charm, it’s definitely due for some touch ups. The overall vibe of the property is nice, and the layout is cozy with a classic feel. The staff were polite and welcoming, and we appreciated the general atmosphere. However, it’s clear that certain areas are showing their age—from worn-out furniture to small details that just felt outdated. The room was decent, but again, you can tell the hotel is overdue for renovations to bring it up to the standard you’d expect from a Hilton. It didn’t ruin our trip by any means—we had an okay stay overall—but I wouldn’t rush back unless I knew improvements had been made. Still, if you’re looking for a quiet spot with decent service, it’s not a bad option. Just don’t expect modern luxury quite yet.

No hay servicio de personal que ayude a llevar maletas… tuvimos que bajar todo nuestro equipaje y llevarlo nosotros a la habitación.

Las instalaciones son agrdables, el persona amable Don Baldomero desde que llegamos nos atendio, fue bien amigable, nos guio en el Hotel nos entrego la habitacion nos explico amable y detalladamente.

no es que no me gustara sino que podria ser una oportunidad de mejora que cuando hayan eventos como el que se realizo el 19/7/25 (la graducion de ENYE) si podrian poner como ofertas de tour guiados por la capital de Guatemala claro con un costo extra bien que uno con gusto podria pagarlo.

Hotel smelled very bad

I was disappointed with my experience. I paid for a room with two queen beds, but we were placed in a room with one king bed instead. The front desk said the reservation only showed one adult, though I’m not sure if the app asked for that information or not, either way, the booking clearly stated two queen beds. They tried to resolve the issue by bringing in a rollaway bed, but that wasn’t what I paid for 😒
