Tizi N'Ouirgane

Wonderful place to stay we had all we needed and more with great views and easy location if you don’t mind staying away from the chaos. Quiet and very relaxing

This is a very beautiful house with a fantastic pool and garden. The property is so well cared for by lovely staff who made our stay very enjoyable - they were so kind, thoughtful and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were excellent and the outdoor dining area was a lovely place for meals. We were the only guests staying at Tizi N’Ouirgane - which surprised us as it is such a stylish and impressive place. The room was large, the long shared balcony was a wonderful place to sit and relax. Our host organised a guided hike for us and arranged our taxi to Marrakech - and helped me to improve my French!

Everything about our stay at Tizi was AMAZING!! The staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful, they really couldn't do more for us. The food was great, a real taste of local Moroccan food, not to mention the beautiful views while we were eating. The location was just stunning again with the most amazing views. The rooms were great, so clean and tidy with a real Moroccan feel, with a beautiful balcony to sit on. Honestly the only bad thing about our stay was having to leave. If you are going to book anywhere to stay in the whole of Morocco, make sure you book to stay at Tizi. Again massive Thank You to the amazing staff for making our stay perfect! :)

We loved everything about Tizi

The location is amazing, ideal for trecking in the mountains, the rooms are big and beautifully furnished, clean, the balconies have mountain panorama. Huge swimming pool in a rose garden with comfy water temperature. I have to particularly highlight the warm welcoming and service of Fouad, he was ready to help us in each concern and organised excursions through local guides in the area. Alltogether professional and very kind service. We had a very nice time and will return. Emese & Miklos

Could be lovely, but ruined by the owner. The room itself was lovely, although the mattresses are literally as hard as rocks. The grounds are also lovely and the waiting staff are amazing. It's really hard to explain, but what ruined it was the owner, and their the vibe. She struts around acting like cruella de vil and shouting at her staff. We also felt like we were being treated with constant contempt. You end up sneaking around, but she takes candle lit dinners in the entrance lobby, sunbathes when you do, and generally gave the entire place a really toxic vibe. We were provided dinner a few times but were never shown a price list, got hand waved at when asking the price and got shouted at when we brought our own food from outside (much better, and ended up being literally 1/10 the cost!). Whenever we raised a few issues (like our bath didn't have a plug, so we couldn't easily wash our baby) our issues were dismissed. The power also went off for a day, and the water is pumped in, so we couldn't even wash our hands (other places in the area have generators for this regular situation). We visited a few other places in the area that not only had super welcoming owners, but proper menus and really great food. We had so many other issues with this place (e.g. there was a gas canister on the roof leaking gas, the shower pressure is merely a dribble, the "receptionists" treat you with irreverence) but our main issue was how we were made to feel throughout the entire stay. Avoid.
