Gamat Garden Homestay

It’s a lovely home stay run by a very nice local family. If you are looking to unplug from town and enjoy priceless views of the ocean and neighboring islands. Though it’s far from town there are a handful of restaurants and the staff helps you arrange pick up.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Sie haben versucht alle Wünsche umzusetzen. Man konnte ein Scooter für kleines Geld mieten.

Quiet far from the town but ok if you have motorcycles

If you are travelling on a budget and are looking for a quiet spot, with friendly people and an amazing view then you are at the right spot. Garden is small but lovely, same for the pool area. The bungalows are a bit outdated and could do with a some sprucing up. Do not forget you are in a homestay not a hotel. You get good value for money. Very quiet area not much going on in the neighbourhood, so a scooter is more or less a must if you want to visit the rest of the island.

Food was unfortunately not good. Very reasonable prices but very bassic.

Amazing host and I must say this homestay is a gem of a place. Amok sunset restaurent was in close proximity. The views from my room was breathtaking.

A little tough to navigate on a scooter. Only book if scooter offroad driving is your thing or if you're planning to book a remote cab,

Paní byla úžasná, všechno, co jsme potřebovali, zařídila - půjčila nám skútry, zařídila masáž přímo na místě, zajistila odvoz do přístavu, má na místě i malý krámek. Výhled z ubytování byl úžasný.

Le personnel était exceptionnel : chaleureux, attentif et toujours prêt à nous aider. Ils ont réservé pour nous toutes les activités que l'on souhaitait faire. L'emplacement est parfait, en pleine nature, très calme, avec une vue splendide sur la mer. À 20 minutes de Kelingking Beach, 45 minutes de Diamond Beach et à seulement 15 minutes du centre et du port. L’endroit propose également des plats typiques et européens à des prix très abordables, et on y a mangé plusieurs fois avec grand plaisir. Un autre plus : ils proposent la location de scooters pendant toute la durée de notre séjour pour vraiment pas cher, ce qui est super pratique ! Si vous n’êtes pas à l’aise avec les scooters, pas de souci, vous pouvez aussi demander un chauffeur privé sans problème. Le cadre est vraiment paisible et ressourçant.

La salle de bain était un peu rustique, mais rien de dérangeant, ça faisait même partie du charme du lieu. La route pour y accéder est un peu chaotique, mais on en garde ça comme une aventure !

Établissement très beau, la vue est incroyable, on ne peut pas avoir mieux. Cependant, la chambre manque peut être d’un peu d’équipement ( peut être un frigo et des rideaux qui cachent un peu mieux le soleil). Mais, il reste un très bon établissement ! Le personnel au top !
