Gamat Garden Homestay

Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel la vue exceptionnelle sur la mer du haut de la falaise et les chambres sont correctes confortables.

The property was at a beautiful vista, with comfortable stand alone room with a balcony. Great facilities: cleaned daily, warm showers, good air con, amazing pool, good onsite restaurant, and small onsite shop, with good prices. The staff were amazing and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The road to access is longer and rough in a car, ok on a moto, with limited cafes and restaurants nearby. There was one really nice more expensive restaurant and one family owned restaurant in walking distance.

The outside garden and pool are absolutely stunning! It was extremely beautiful and relaxing to hang out outside. Also, the food is really tasty and in good price. We loved the noodle soup for breakfast. The location was perfect - super close to Gamat Bay where we went snorkeling and saw turtles multiple times. WiFi is good for remote working.

Unfortunately, our room was quite bad and ruined the experience that could have been perfect. We believe the stand-alone bungalows offer better standard, but we could not tell that from pictures, we thought it was mostly the size of the room and bathroom that are different. The main problem was the bathroom that was connected to the other room’s bathroom with an open hole vent and thin wall - we could hear and smell everything. Also the drainage was bad so every time we used the wanted it smelled of sewage. And the sink was almost not draining at all. Second problem was the room - it felt old and smelled quite bad (despite a lot, A LOT of softener used on sheets and towels). We could see it hasn’t been deep cleaned, just quick. The mosquito net was short and it was falling onto the bed so we were ending up tangled in it. If we were only staying outside and having food we would give it 15/10 but the room unfortunately spoiled the experience.

We loved everything. Amazing pool and views from high up. Comfy bed with a great view from it. Super friendly kind and caring staff.

The view from the location is so mind blowing, room is well maintained and clean, food is tasty, swimming pool is amazing and most importantly hotel owner is so supportive and friendly.

No slippers in the room and washroom.
