Downbeach Inn

The person in charge of the hotel was absolutely monster. He was extremely disrespectful. He got really nasty with me and my boyfriend because no where on here says that there’s a 40 dollar deposit and he typed it in his notes and showed us there is. Not only that the parking lot looks like Tetris and very limited. He made us pay 10 dollars for each car and only one could stay on the lot and one goes on a lot almost 2 blocks away. And we were still not guaranteed a parking. And if we wanted to move our cars it was an additional $10! As me and my boyfriend sat in the parking lot making our decision about parking which care where he came outside and literally watched us. The quilt had so many cigarette holes on the blanket and the NONSMOKING room smelt like pure cigarettes. We called him and told him because I have bad asthma and he came up and sprayed it with an air freshener. He gave us a hard time about the us asking for the password to the free WiFi and he there were cigarettes buds in the closet. The bathroom didn’t have any towels or wash clothes and when we asked for some he yelled at us. The man was extremely rude and disrespectful and if I can give it less than 0 stars I would. Never in a million years would I stay here again.

The place is an absolute Dive he even charged to stay in the room 40 CASH AND 10 FOR PARKING WHILE WE STAYED AT THE DUMP. THE WASHCLOTHS WERE SUPPOED TO BE WHITE AND THEY WERE STAINED YELLOW MY FEET WERE BLACK FROM WALKING AROUND BARE FOOT, THE MATRESS HAD SPRINGS POPPING OUT OF IT AS WELL AS THE BATHROOM WAS GROSS... DO NOT STAY HERE

It was exactly as i suspected for a cheap motel. I didnt expect bells and whistles. There was a bed, a tv, and bathroom. perfect for a cheap stay. the area around was just a lil sketchy. But if you want a cheap motel this is it.

Overpriced and really dirty. Shower and sink was clogged, room reeked of cigarette smoke even though it was nonsmoking, and there were cigarette burns on the bedding.

Hotel was dirty and stuff was brojen. Never again. Then he asied for a 40$ deposit cash.

the facilities are very old, the one who attends is grumpy, it gives a lot of trouble to park

Parking & space for car so bad!!

The place needs maintenance, but it's fair for the price and a one night stay. Great location. Need to warn customers that there's a cash only deposit of $40 to check in, refundable at check out. I had to get to an ATM to get it. Basic toiletries would be nice.

First room I got was smelling smoke so bad. But I asked to change rooms and it was good. Clean. The location is great and there is parking lot on the site. I had a really good experience
