Downbeach Inn

The pictures and the in person looks were different they had broken wall fixtures. The towels were a brown white (glad I had my own) if I didn’t need to have a place to sleep for the night and didn’t pay I would have left

I got to the hotel looked at the room and it was very filthy dirty, furniture missing wall paper peeling off the walls the bathroom was so dirty with holes in the walls and the floors, window in the bathroom would not close the towels were so dirty with human stains also the bedding were dirty never washed with human stains. I send all the pictures to hotel.com I never stay not even one night it was supposed to be a non- smoking room and it smell so bad, light fixtures not working electrical wire live hanging off the ceiling, ice bucket that suppose to be used for ice they use it as a cigarette ashtray, the front to the room was damaged and broken and would not close the correct way anyone could just push it in no safety, I send pictures to hotel.com lots of pictures of that filthy nightmare hotel.. drug addicts hanging around the hotel, trash in the staircase with dirty towels outside the hotel the staff person at the front desk was not helpful and said that all the rooms were booked and they were not, the other rooms we're in the same condition filthy because I looked through the window and did not look clean with the air conditioning covers on the floor, plus I WOULD NOT EVEN STAY IF THEY HAD ANOTHER ROOM . The Downbeach Inn should be close and reported to the Atlantic City Board of health... I did send all the pictures to hotel.com and they are Investigating the matter and I want my full refund $159.48 please.!!

I was in town for USA triathlon National Championships, as a competitor. I got a notification on my phone that a motel staff member activated the rear-facing camera on my triathlon bike that was sitting on a carrier on the back of my car. I looked out the window and sure enough he was manipulating the camera and investigating the lock and cable with secured it to my SUV. Because of this I left within 1 hour of arriving after having paid for 3 days and parking. I felt unsafe leaving my bikes in the room or outdoors due to this. The young man told me that he was "just admiring" my bike. Yes I was little on edge with a carbon fiber racing bike locked to the back of my vehicle outside, but I wish he would just admire it from a distance without handling it.

The room was terrible. No toilet paper, no clean towels, dirty room and terrible bathroom. I had to go but cleaning supplies just to be able to use the bathroom. The mildew all over the shower walls was the worst I have ever seen in my 53 years. The bathroom had a window, but the window was missing. We had to put a towel up so that people walking by couldn’t see in. We had to go get blankets to sleep with because the comforters we terribly disgusting.

This was horrible! I slept on top of the covers (throw from our truck). It felt dirty a the bedding the next morning we noticed something black on it! Microwave could even get in the door was broken, refrigerator was rusty, ice build up, bathroom tub was gross! I felt like I was itching all night! If it wouldn’t have been late we would have moved hotels and it looked worse in the day light! It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had! Should have realized when we pulled in and a huge pile of towels was laying on the sidewalk in a huge pile!

The room was what we expected for the price. There was no smell of any kind which is good. Close to the casinos and the Boardwalk.

Was convenient for the money but motel had roaches, microwave was broken,ants in bathroom, parking was a cluster.

This place was the most disgusting unsafe place I’ve booked!
