Hotel Villa Palace

The hotel has a central location ( close to the skiing track 25 and Bakuriani Park, Kokhta track is 5 min drive from the hotel ). The room was clean, WiFi was Ok, breakfast, lunch and dinner had a good variety and was also good . The swimming pool was small and I did not use it. The staff was helpful.

Our group stayed here for one night. Our room was okay, on the small side. The bathroom was clean and adequate, having a tub and shower. The towels were thin. The bed was alright. There was an electric kettle in the room but no coffee/tea/sugar. The restaurant is in the basement; large and a but dark. The dinner buffet was uninspiring. There were no good salads. The breakfast buffet mediocre. I saw a game room with pool table and ping pong, and a treadmill and two exercycles. I did not see the pool. This hotel seems geared for the ski season; we stayed between seasons, so perhaps this is the reason the hotel was not at its best.

Our room was located literally next to the reception/lobby. Therefor constant noise day and night. Canteen ( difficult to call this type of dinning a restaurant) is in the basement and was always dark. Furniture and lamps in the room were old and semi broken. NewYear dinning ( 100 USD p\p) was full of pork options. Being Muslims we could not ear any of it. So we were left nearly hungry by midnight. Leaving this place was a relieve.

We have stayed at the Villa Palace for 2 nights. Excellent tranquil hotel. Nice and clean rooms (no air condition!) There is a (working!) elevator. Breakfast and dinner were very nice and tasty. Nice stay. This is a downhill ski village - so if you prepare to visit there in winter - may be this report is not complete for your needs. We took the old train down to Burgumi - a nice (slow) and cheap ride - it runs twice a day in each direction. recommended

Shabby but clean hotel. Bits missing off the furniture in the lobby. Bar had Gordon's gin but then no tonic. Bedroom adequate with thread bare covers. Restaurant is downstairs with no natural light making it drab and dingy. Serves adequate breakfast with the best coffee, out of a machine, I have found this trip.

Everything was nice.. The only bad memory is that I left my silver necklace in the room and someone pocketed it after my check-out but the administration never took action. Otherwise everything is really nice.. the swimming pool is not large but clean and pleasant if there is no crowd

What I liked most of all in this hotel was the personal - all of them were friendly, attentive, professional. The room I was given was very small but very clean. The restroom was modern and also clean. The bedsheets, the pillow, the blanket, the mattress were all made from synthetic materials and sleeping in such a bed was quite challenging. The food was included in the accommodation package. It was generally OK, but the restaurant was so poorly illuminated that you virtually could not see what was on your plate. These days the area around the hotel is a big construction site - this is definitely one more minus.

Didn't really like it. Weird decoration at reception. Unlikely smell in the room. Not perfectly clean. Prices to pay are high for such hotel.😥😥😥😥👎👎👎 In the other hand, it's located well and you won't feel scared.

First : Bakuriani could have been in our Alps.... very good road to reach this ski station at an elevation of 1700 meters. Wonderfull forests around this area. I had a comfortable room with a small balcony and a good view. Breakfast and dinner were excellent ! The staff was very helpfull and friendly. If I come back to Georgia, I will choose this hotel again!

Utterly lacking in personality, and decorated with an odd mix of thrift store items, the hotel is very clean, our room was large, and the bathroom was recently updated, roomy and modern. Good hot water and WiFi. But, the curtains fell down due to the post-Soviet technology used to attach them to the rod. (4 people came promptly to fix it, but do not dare try to open/close them!) If it is a clean place to stay with decent plumbing you seek, this hotel will suffice. Do not expect more.
