Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit in dem Guesthouse, vor allem aufgrund der unglaublichen Gastfreundlichkeit des Host. Ich habe selten so eine nette und fürsorgliche Person kennengelernt. Das angebotenen Dinner ist köstlich und ab und zu hat er mir sogar Pfannkuchen vor die Tür gestellt. Unendlich toll. Die Lage und Aussicht ist ebenfalls atemberaubend. Ich kann nur empfehlen hier einzukehren. Ich werde wiederkommen 😊 Ps: Und es gibt einen super süßen Orangen Kater, der die Zeit dort sogar noch schöner gemacht hat.

"Good value for the cost"

I hade a very nice stay here. The apartment was ok value for the cost. Very clean and basic, not renovated for some years though. Big plus for AC. There is an outdoor kitchen with a sink and fridge, but no stove. Since Suðurað basically has one tiny grocery store, either eat out all meals or bring food that doesnt need cooking. There are 2 restaurants right by the apartment. There is lovely lite place below the house for taking a swim. Great terrace. The host was available and accomodating! Bring mosquito-repelant!

It was hard finding the place and I would have found it easier if they had a sign. But basically go to the restaurant Tri Sestre and the stairs down. Maybe there could be installed 2-3 sun chairs and a sun umbrella on the beach?

"Idéal pour une pause au calme"

La vue du logement sur la mer et la proximité de la plateforme pour se baigner en contre bas (presque privé, on était seulement avec les autres guests du logement en plein mois d’août, un réel bonheur) La gentillesse de l’hôte et la cuisine commune

Chambre assez rustique, l’isolation sonore pas au top (on entends les autres voyageurs)

We enjoyed our stay a lot! + very friendly owner + private water access, that wasn’t busy at all + practical to be able to use fridge/kitchen + minimal but clean room + cute restaurants nearby + we brought snorkels and went every day

We liked everything about the property. Just to be aware of: ~ very small supermarket with limited selection (bring things with, or there is another shop on other side of island (6km away) ~ a coffee machine would be great ~ bring shampoo and conditioner
